How well does the solar light actually work?
On a full day of direct sunlight, the LED provides 6 to 8 hours of soft warm light after dark. The sensor is automatic — it turns on at dusk and off at dawn. For best results, place the pot where it gets at least 4 hours of direct sun. No batteries, no cords, nothing to plug in.
Can it stay outside all year?
The cement base and resin flower plates are built for outdoor use. They handle rain, heat, and most weather conditions well. We recommend bringing the pot inside if temperatures drop below 32°F for extended periods — freezing water can affect the cement base over time. Otherwise, it's designed to live outdoors.
